Gerber Goes Big with New ComplEAT Camp Cook Collection

Gerber has added a big new camp kitchen collection to its lineup of multitools, knives, axes, and saws. The new ComplEAT camp cookware collection includes pots, pans, knives, and cutting boards — as well as bowls and plates that nest into tidy packages.

Until now, most of Gerber’s products were more tangentially related to camping: Pocket knives, multi-tools, axes and saws are all useful while camping, but they’re also useful when hunting or hiking. Camp cooking gear is flat-out camping gear, through and through.

We’ve been fans of Gerber for years because the company has consistently delivered quality tools at affordable price points. In addition, Gerber first delivered a “ComplEAT” component way back in 2019: The Gerber ComplEAT Utensil Set, which is a small nesting spoon, fork, spatula, with a can opener, peeler, and bottle opener. It’s been great for lightweight outdoor cooking and eating in the backcountry.

Of course, Gerber isn’t the first company to create camp cooksets that nest and fit together, but the Gerber ComplEAT Collection is one we’re interested in testing and reviewing this spring.

ComplEAT Cook Set

The 16-piece ComplEAT Cook Set includes a stainless steel sauce pan and stock pot with lids and a hot pad. A mixing/serving bowl, along with plates and bowls for a family of four, round out the components. It all nests neatly together and fits into a handy carrying bag. We definitely like camp cookware that packs easily and stores efficiently.

ComplEAT Cutting Board Set

For meal prep, Gerber’s ComplEAT Cutting Board Set gives you two Gerber knives, as well as two dual-sized cutting boards. It all fits together with a box-like utensil tray.

ComplEAT Griddle

For frying goodness, the ComplEAT Griddle uses a detachable handle for improved storage in your camp kitchen box. Better yet, Gerber’s squarish pan style is meant to maximize heating space on a typical camp stove while still remaining packable.

 

ComplEAT Knife Set

The ComplEAT Knife Set is a package of three knives with their own sheaths and carrying case. You get an 8″ Chef Knife, a 6″ Utility Knife, and a 3.25″ Paring Knife.
