YETI has been creating limited edition colorways for years — generally special color options that evoke some sort of connection to the outdoor world. And now, one of the company’s most popular colors from the past, King Crab Orange, is back!
Better yet, it’s not limited to a token few products — YETI has added King Crab Orange to most of its entire product line. Wow.
As I see color, YETI’s King Crab Orange is one of the best, richest versions of bright orange I’ve ever seen translated to outdoor gear. YETI says it’s inspired by bright spots in rough waters, and it is a nod to Alaskan king crab fishing.
Where typical hunter or emergency oranges can seem a bit harsh, YETI’s King Crab Orange delivers a similar pop but without any glare.
Some people respond to color, and I’m one of them. YETI makes excellent, rugged gear and the right colors make me appreciate it even more. I’ve personally reviewed and tested a lot of YETI coolers, bags, camp chairs and drinkware over the years . . . and all of it can be improved by King Crab Orange.

Coolers:
YETI produces more than two dozen coolers in all sizes, shapes and colors — more than enough options to fit most people’s needs:
YETI Roadie 24 Hard Cooler — The YETI Roadie 24 is our favorite road-tripping cooler. It’s small enough to fit most anywhere yet tall enough to fit 2-liter bottles. It’s an outstanding gift for outdoor lovers. If you want to learn more, check out our full YETI Roadie 24 Review.
YETI Roadie 48 Wheeled Cooler — This larger version of the YETI Roadie line supersizes the taller shape and adds wheels. It is outstanding through and through and leads our guide to the Best Coolers with Wheels.
YETI Tundra Hard Cooler — Available in multiple sizes, the traditional rotomolded Tundra line delivers in a classic form factor everyone appreciates.
YETI Soft Coolers — YETI makes three distinct styles of soft coolers, the traditional zippered Hopper Flip coolers, a tote bag-style soft cooler, and a tote-style backpack version. They’re all excellent — and very rugged.
Backpacks and Bags:
YETI 28L Waterproof Panga Backpack — We thought the gray and tan versions of the YETI Panga Waterproof Backpack were great, but the new orange option makes a statement that’s hard to deny. To learn more about the YETI’s waterproof backpack, read our full YETI Panga Backpack Review here.
YETI Panga Waterproof Duffels — The ultra-rugged expedition-ready Panga Waterproof Duffel is awesome. I’ve personally tested a 100L Panga Waterproof Duffel on a week-long whitewater rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, as well as taken it camping and hunting and generally abused it by throwing it in the backs of pickups and UTVs to ride on rough roads in rain, dust and snow. YETI Camino Carryall Tote Bag — As far as we’re concerned, the YETI Camino Carryall Tote Bag is the greatest heavy-duty rugged adventure tote bag of all time. It’s stands up on its own, has multiple carry options, interior pockets and has super cool internal organization to help you better pack your stuff.
Cargo Containers:
We’re not yet sold on YETI’s $40 5-gallon bucket, but its line of GoBox Gear Cases? Oh yeah:
YETI GoBox 15, 30, and 60 Gear Cases — YETI makes its GoBoxes in three size options that all stack well with each other. They’re rugged, waterproof, dustproof, and feature outstanding internal organization for your most important gear.
Drinkware:
You know the drill here — YETI makes rugged stainless steel double-walled insulated drinkware that works great and will last forever . . . and is dishwasher safe, too:
