Korkers has teamed up with the famous fish-focused artist Derek DeYoung to create a new line of casual summer shoes — the Fish Moc Collection.
Most known for making wading boots and snow boots with interchangeable soles, Korkers has been expanding its line of footwear with new wading boot and shoe designs. We’re fans of Korkers wading boots and some versions are so good they’ve been in our guide to the best wading boots for multiple years running.
Last year, Korkers introduced wading shoes and sandals — the All Axis Shoe and the Swift Sandal. Most recently, Korkers added ultralight wading boots with built-in, non-interchangeable soles — the Chrome Lite BOA and the Stealth Sneaker.
The new Fish Moc Collection features colorful artwork that depicts the sides of both freshwater and saltwater fish, including brook trout, brown trout, bass, tarpon, dorado and more.
We’re particularly excited about these new shoes because we think they’ll make great gifts for fly fishers . . . who are admittedly somewhat hard to shop for.
‘Moc’ Casual But Surprisingly Technical
They’re casual moc-style shoes but they’re built with Korkers’ outdoor sensibilities and new Korkers materials: For instance, the soles of the new Fish Mocs have a grippy non-marking Kling-On Deck rubber outsole. It’s similar to the Korkers Kling-On Rock rubber outsole on its new Chrome Lite and Stealth Sneaker lightweight wading boots — but it’s aimed at slick boat decks and docks.
The midsole is built with Korkers Cush-Tech for an impact-absorbing, cushy ride.

Collapsible Heel
One cool feature we appreciate in casual shoes is the collapsible heel. You can shove the heel down and turn the Fish Mocs into slippers. We’re very interested in testing the new Fish Mocs out as a camping shoe — easy to step into and out of from your tent or camper at night.
Korkers has eight versions available for men and two versions for women. The key difference in the women’s versions is a smoother toe design that lacks the typical “Moc” stitching.
Sizing
Unlike typical Korkers wading boot sizing, with the new Fish Mocs you should order your normal street shoe size. If you’re a size 10 in your street shoe, be sure to order a size 10 Fish Moc.
Fish Flips, Too
Even though they’re not Mocs, Korkers has also added a new like of flip flops featuring DeYoung artwork — Fish Flips. They sport a footbed with similar vibrant fish-inspired art.
